Oh Well!!!

So I have decided that trying to play catch up is pretty much futile. So, here's to keeping it updated from now on. I realized that I didn't post her St. Patrick's Day pics, so here you go. I think they are awesome. They really shows how big she has gotten.

No....I don't want to wake up!

So I thought this one was adorable....she was taking a nap and I came in to find her sleeping like this. She's so darn cute!


Her first trip to a UT Basketball Game.....Hook Em Horns....


She liked to eat her hands more than pay attention to the game, but she looked cute.


Her new nickname is Houdini.....she got herself out of her sleeper all by herself.

Belated updates

So it has been entirely too long since I have posted. I have just about missed the month of March, so I figured that I had better get on it. As usual when I am behind I am going to use pictures to show what we have been doing. This first group of images are her four month portraits. My friend Roxane took these little Valentine ones for me.

This one is for my parents...growing up they always called me Lil' Bit.


I so want this in my house....its a 10x20....Roxane is gonna put one up in her studio...I guess I'll just have to drool there.

Where is the time going?

So I really can't believe that she is already four months. This past few weeks has brought a lot of changes with her. She no longer wants to sleep through the night, she plays with her toes, eats rice cereal, talks a bunch and her newest...drum roll please...she is rolling from her back to her front. She is really funny. I love to watch her explore the world. It seems that with her new found talent she now loves to be on her tummy more. Whenever I put her down for a nap or for the night I put her on her back and when she wakes up she's on her tummy, facing a different direction.

Also I am trying out rice cereal with her. She doesn't mind the taste but she gets mad because the spoon doesn't get it in her mouth fast enough. She is constantly trying to grab the spoon out of my hand. And, when I do get the spoon to her mouth she grabs my hand so that I can't take it away. Possessive little thing!

Okay so I have some pics on my camera that I thought you would all enjoy.

Roxane and Jaden came over tonight and played for a bit. Jaden was so sweet with Savannah...just like Logan he just wanted to hold her. He did a great job. Then he turned his attention to the Wii and bowled a freakin 157. Man was I jealous.

On my earlier post today I mention a plotting against my DM...and I would have to say mission definitely accomplished! Roxane, Jaden, Kyrra, and I had so much fun. We went and heart attacked her. Her lawn was covered with foam hearts. AWESOME!!!

Okay so time for some Savannah update. I am finally posting the pics of her holding her bottle. she knows when it's time for food. She grabs and bottle and pulls it straight to her mouth. It's funny. Also, we have started giving her some cereal at night. We tried it yesterday for the first time and I totally thought she was gonna take the spoon out of my hand....I truly couldn't get it there fast enough. Hopefully the video will load for us tonight.






It's amazing how the smallest everyday moments are what really capture out hearts. I woke up the other morning before everyone else. I rolled over and this is what I saw...I wanted that sweet memory to last forever. I remember a picture of me and my dad that looked similar to that.


I will have to really try and get some more video of Savannah to load for me. I have some really great ones here.

10 years ago:
Hmmm....ten years ago... that was a dang long time ago. That's gonna take some thinking. Okay....ten years ago was...1998.....I was out of high school...I think I was still taking some classes at Cerritos College....tons of music and not really anything else. umm.....I was working at ABC school district as a full inclusion aide, and loving my kiddos. Dating Jose...and... hanging out with my best friend Jessi...WOW...my whole world has changed since then.

Growing UP

So tonight I was sitting on the floor getting some PartyLite catalogs ready and I look over at Savannah and was amazed. She was sitting in her little chair playing with her toes. Man....I have been trying to get her to do that forever now, and whenever I try she doesn't even have a desire to try. But there she was holding on and laughing. Little stinker. I can't believe that she will be four months on the 18th. The time is truly flying.
