So we had our official ultrasound last week, and we are definitely having a boy. They said that everything looks good and that things are going well. So now comes the game we all love to play...(cue cheesy show tune music)...(enter host with a big deep voice) "The Name Game!" So we like the name Seth, but I need some help with a middle name. So here is your chance to immortalize yourself. LOL. Let me know what you think.

Here's another one

This one is Courtesy of the internet had some cool stuff to waste your time with.
It's a website called can type in lats of words, or type in your blog address and it makes this really cool picture using those words. Colleen, Katie, and Natalie this has got your names written all over it. Well not literally...LOL. You'll have to try it for yourselves.

I love it because it's even my colors.

Funny Website

So, my friend Natalie always posts really cool links on her site and I thought this one was really too funny to pass up. Go to the website, type up your name and then see what the definition for you is.

I think my husband might actually agree with this definition. As much as I love to live in the city, and be around people. Lately I have been a hermit.

The sweetest thing ever

So, today I was doing my usual Monday run around and get all (or try to get) them all done. So anyway I was at Wal-mart my final stop. I was walking down one of the aisles looking for something, and I heard Savannah start to jabber, which by the way isn't unusual, but she was really loud. So I look down and start to realize what she was doing. She was talking and patting my belly. She was having some really animated conversation with her sibling. I think they are friends already. I thought it was so awesome, I wish a camera could truly capture a moment like that, but there are somethings that will only live forever in our memories. She is such a sweet little girl.

Fourth of July

So we are having a ton of fun this weekend. We are up in Georgetown spending time with Orson's family. Last night Chuck's family, Orson and I went to an Express Baseball game, and, miraculously, they won. There were two triple plays in the fourth, and the opposing manager was escorted out. All of which, Orson and I missed because we went late. After the game they had a pretty good fireworks show. We were gonna take Savannah with us, but just before we left she went nuts and I put her to bed instead of forcing everyone at the stadium to listen to her screaming.

Today we went to Dos Salsas, one of my in-laws favorite places, for lunch. Orson was happy because after he ate his meal he ordered fried ice cream, which I must admit was fabulous. Once we finished lunch we took Savannah to two different parks and looked at all their booths, experienced new foods, and took a million pictures. It was hot but not unbearable outside. We stopped and drooled over some awesome classic cars and trucks. My favorite was a red hot rod. I could totally picture me driving it. (Just don't tell my husband!) Then as we walked we came upon the gazebo which had a band playing, so naturally Grandma and Savannah stopped to boogie.

We then browsed many arts and crafts booths, at which point we ventured upon the "food court." When at a festival type atmosphere one thing that is a must buy are funnel cakes. So we stopped and got grandpa one, and because he is so nice, he shared with everyone, including Savannah.

The park that we were at has a river that runs through it, so, Grandma, Orson, and I decided to take Savannah down to take a peek.

Of all of the things we did today, I think Savannah's favorite was eating watermelon at Grandma's after we got home from our touring. She was a mess by the time we were done. I had taken off her shirt, but it was a good thing that her shorts were red because she was soaked with watermelon juice, even her diaper was red.

After a quick bath, and story time, she went down for the night. All in all I think her first fourth of July was a success, minus the fact that she didn't get to see any fireworks.

Word of the Day

So....I thought everyone might enjoy a flash back to our Sesame Street days. So the here's the word-of-the-day...SUPER-PREGNANT. Yuppers....that is a direct quote from the Dr.'s office on Tuesday. We went today to our official appoinment and got an ultrasound. We are 23 almost 24 weeks along. We are due on October 30th. Yes, for those of you trying to do the math... Savannah will be one year and two weeks old. We are in for some fun. We are both excited, I actually think it's great. We are halfway done. No waiting forever to find out what it is, no nine months of anxiety. Find out...wait a few weeks...have a kid. Anyway, our Dr. is fairly positive that it will be a boy. But we will make an official announcement on that as we get that info. So...I guess I should tell all of you to pick your jaws up of the floor at this point, I am NOT kidding. Hope to be able to talk to you all individually but I figure that this was the fastest and easiest way to share our news.

Cute Dress

So, I bought this material last year to make a dress for my niece Jessica, but never got around to it. I think it turned out pretty cute even though the sleeves were murder. When my mother-in-law and I finished the dress, we both thought it was HUGE. But it fits her perfectly. It's scary that she is getting that big. WOW. Anyway I just wanted to show you all because I needed to brag. HEHEHE. She wore it to church on Sunday and everyone loved it. One of my friends even wants me to make it in her size. I'm on it Natalie!

She's getting so big. (sigh!)

Here's a fun tag for ya (Thank you, Natalie!):

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if we’ve actually met in person or not, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Okay, so I do and don't want to know. I'm a little scared of the stories that are looming, especially since I know who reads this regularly.
